Energy Efficient
Thermal Insulation
The Icoroof has the thermal insulation layer located between the ceiling joists so that everything above the insulation (any roof space) will be colder than the living space below it. As can be seen from the illustration, that is how the Icoroof is constructed, ensuring the empty spaces are well ventilated (as a traditional roof would be) to avoid condensation. By using 155mm EPS insulation we ensure that the “cold” from this roof stays well away from the room.

Obtain your Building Control certification easily with an Icoroof: should your installation require building control approval, you can select an Icoroof knowing that this process will be made simpler and faster; the Icoroof is pre-approved by Ball & Berry building inspectors. By using their services you do not need to go to the local authorities. GREEN LID Fabrication has opted to use this facility for ease and speed.
